Entrepreneurial activity
Andriy Matyuha is the founder of FAVBET, a company that has grown into a leading operator in Ukraine’s gambling industry, covering online casinos, sports betting, land-based casinos, and a network of slot halls. In 2024, FAVBET contributed over UAH 5.7 billion in taxes to the state budget of Ukraine.
The company's international expansion includes operations in Croatia and Romania. FAVBET Tech — the group’s software development company — became a resident of “Diia City” in 2022 and joined the IT Ukraine Association.
In 2023, FAVBET Tech was included in the Highload and Work.ua rankings among the most active IT companies supporting Ukraine. In 2024, it ranked among the Top 30 largest IT companies in Ukraine according to BRDO and was among the top three taxpayers among Diia City residents.
As of 2025, the group is owned by Dmytro Matyuha, who previously oversaw product development, new business lines, and international expansion.
Development of Ukrainian Business
FAVBET adheres to responsible gaming principles and partners with the Favbet Foundation to implement impactful social projects. Since 2023, the company has been the General Partner of an initiative providing social services for individuals facing gambling addiction. In 2024, the first specialized center “Life Space” was opened to support people with gambling problems and their families.
FAVBET also initiated Ukraine’s first national study on gambling addiction in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, aiming to promote a culture of responsible gaming.
Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Services for Individuals with Gambling Addiction
In 2023, FAVBET became the general partner of a project to introduce social services for individuals at risk of gambling addiction and supported the national gambling addiction study with the Ministry of Health.
As a result of the project, in 2024, the Ministry of Social Policy approved Ukraine’s first-ever state standard for the social and psychological rehabilitation of individuals with gambling addiction.
That same year, a specialized “Life Space” center opened in Kyiv with the support of the company, providing assistance to players and their families and promoting responsible gaming practices.
Charitable Work
Founded in 2020, the Favbet Foundation focuses on projects in sports, healthcare, education, and science. Following the outbreak of war in 2022, the foundation significantly increased its support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supplying equipment, vehicles, and drones. In 2024, in partnership with KREVNI Special Operations Forces, it launched the “Re:start” rehabilitation program for military personnel. The foundation also supplies cutting-edge drones to GUR (Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence).
In April 2022, the foundation opened a humanitarian center in Zagreb, Croatia, offering legal consultations, language courses, and psychological support to war-affected individuals. Together with the volunteer organization Dobro Dobrim (DoDo), it continues to deliver humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Over three years, the total amount of aid from the FAVBET group exceeded UAH 500 million.
Key projects include:
UAH 57 million in donations to UNITED24 for the purchase of 53 Peugeot Landtrek pickups for UAV strike companies within the "Army of Drones" initiative;
UAH 10 million for "Operation Unity" and another UAH 10 million for "Operation Unity 2," aimed at procuring 15,000 FPV drones;
UAH 4 million for the "Safe Sky" project to equip air defense forces with modern aerial target recognition sensors.
The foundation also supports the “Superhero Club” program, which includes educational and sports initiatives for children affected by the war. Over 1,000 children have completed a basic IT course developed in collaboration with Code Club Ukraine.

Medical Support
Since 2023, FAVBET has partnered with Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital. During this time, the foundation has provided an advanced BK5000 ultrasound system, complete with probes and software worth over UAH 4 million, used for treating cancer and vascular diseases.
The following year, the foundation supplied the oncology department with modern therapeutic equipment, including the Brightfield Healthcare BH-600A device for warming infusion solutions, blood components, and plasma, as well as the MR-1 mini rocker shaker for uniform solution mixing. In 2024, the foundation allocated UAH 10 million to restore damaged hospital buildings after a missile strike.
Public Engagement
FAVBET supports the development of sports, education, and culture in Ukraine. The company is the general partner of the national basketball, hockey, and fencing federations, and actively collaborates with esports teams. The Favbet Foundation sponsors children’s sports events, supports talented athletes, and organizes sports clubs for children.
In 2025, the foundation, together with FAST, launched a nationwide educational program on first aid training for sports professionals in Ukraine. In just the first two months, 212 athletes and coaches from seven Olympic sports completed the course. Around 1,800 more participants are expected by the end of the year.
Cultural Projects
Andriy Matyuha supports Ukrainian film production. In 2023, a biography of Darijo Srna, the legendary Shakhtar Donetsk footballer, was published with his backing.
